Sherry Cagan

Philanthropy is generously promoting the welfare of others, sharing a smile, time, talent, and goods, to financial contributions, or it can simply be a way of life. Like my aunt, in her mid 80’s from the south, who works a large garden and cans hundreds of jars every year, says she does it for the old people. From caring for the elderly to helping a neighbor bring in his crop to a charitable organization, philanthropy comes in all forms. Philanthropists are those, who have a vision, who influence, utilize recourses and or role up their sleeves and work to make the changes they wish to see in this world. To some extent, we are all philanthropists with a smile and helping hand.

“There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit.” ― Ronald Reagan
